The New York City Psychotherapy Collective serves folks in both the greater New York City area and other remote locations throughout New York state via teletherapy. We empower our clients to use online therapy to pursue calm and clarity amidst the sometimes overwhelming excitement of New York City. We prioritize matching clinicians with their ideal clients, so that you can focus on helping clients understand their past, take ownership of their present, and make positive steps toward their ideal future. We offer wonderful professional development opportunities for New York therapists interested in online counseling jobs. We are looking for ambitious clinicians who are eager to learn about the business side of a practice as well as building a caseload of ideal clients while also developing clinically.

Ready to boost your career as a therapist? We are a good fit for a New York based mental health counselor or social worker who is:

  • Ambitious

  • A go-getter

  • Self-directed

  • A lifelong learner

  • An evidence-based practitioner

  • Confident but coachable

  • An independent problem-solver

Newly graduated clinicians who want to explore deep clinical work and more seasoned clinicians who are ready to pursue independent licensure are strongly encouraged to apply. We want to hear about how you are forging your own path and how we can be partners in that next chapter of your professional life.

We offer a wonderful opportunity for:

New clinicians who would like to pursue hours towards independent licensure

Or

More seasoned clinicians who are seeking to gain a deeper understanding of their own niche and identity within their practice.

We set up everything business-related for you - taxes, paid time off, marketing, electronic health records, and billing! This way, you get to focus exclusively on honing your craft and becoming a great therapist.

Clinicians will receive supportive clinical supervision from an experienced PhD LCSW with many years in both private practice and a variety of settings prior to that. Clinicians will be supported as they build to a full-time teletherapy caseload and will receive administrative work opportunities that will help them learn how to build and run their own practice someday, should they want to.

Applications without a tailored cover letter emailed to contact@newyorkcitypsychotherapists.com will not be considered.
